Care Provider Policies:
Introduction Health Check in Call-For on call cases we are encouraging both Care Providers and Families to communicate during introductory calls on the health status of both the family and the Care Providers. Please keep the Crunch Care informed on any and all scheduling changes. Ideally check your temperature prior to leaving for any case. The health of Care Providers and Families are equally important. Transparency from both parties with regards to illnesses is key to containing the spread of viruses. In light of this, we are asking families to fully disclose any illnesses when requests are placed.
Case Acceptance Policy-As our policy has always been in the past and remains the same, you are not required take cases offered to you if you do not wish to work that assignment; we do ask that you keep the agency informed of your health status. We are here to support you in any way that we can.
School/Office Closures-We understand with school and office closures, event cancelations, and other overall protective practices that there will be an increase in demand for in-home care and will do our best to accommodate with everyone’s health in mind. Please be prepared to go to your cases with activity planning in mind and home based educational activities.
Cancelation Upon Arrival-If you arrive at a home and you are uncomfortable staying due to one of the Family members being sick related to lack of transparency notify the Family immediately along with our office. Email oncall@crunchcare.com and or call 877-553-4231, ext. 89. Do not use the feed as your primary form of communication.
Travel-We are asking Care Providers who have traveled in the last two weeks to not take any on call cases. This is to protect the Care Providers as well as the Families.
